The evaporation of state budget funds for faculty salaries is cause massive layoffs of educators at the post-secondary and secondary level. As the academic layoffs proceed at their current drastic pace the academic levels below the secondary level will also be decimated as the budgetary funds needed to pay teachers continues to disappear from sight.
